Magnetic inductive flow sensors

  • Plastic devices DN 3...DN 25 for series applications
  • Metal devices DN 2...DN 20 for machines and plants
  • Flange devices DN 15...DN 200
  • Cooling processes in mechanical and plant engineering or also in building services engineering
  • The sensors of the induQ® VMI series enable flow / volumetric flow measurement of electrically conductive liquids without moving parts.

The extremely compact induQ® electromagnetic flow sensors from SIKA enable the use of the proven measuring method in process engineering, as well as in mechanical and plant engineering, at a favorable price. Changes in temperature, density, viscosity, concentration or electrical conductivity of the medium have no effect on the output signal. The induQ® series offer the following advantages:

  • No moving parts
  • No mechanical wear (For aqueous media without solids content)
  • No additional pressure loss due to free pipe cross-section
  • Schnelle Reaktionszeit (< 100 ms – abhängig vom Typ)
  • Low requirements for the inlet section

Series induQ VMI: The VMI series is characterized by its robust metal housing and stable metal process connections, which makes it particularly suitable for machine and plant engineering. Thanks to its design, it is also suitable for higher temperatures and operating pressures. The series is available in three different nominal sizes.

Series induQ VMZ: The VMZ is a magnetic-inductive flow sensor for electrically conductive liquids and was specially developed for OEM applications. By using cost-optimized plastic components, the VMZ is extremely cost-effective. It has a compact and lightweight design and is available in six different flow ranges.

Series induQ VMM: The magnetic-inductive flow sensors induQ® of the VMM series are precise measuring devices for electrically conductive liquids. They are robust and suitable for more demanding environmental conditions. The steel fitting is fully welded, making it stable and insensitive to interference. The available nominal sizes from DN 32 to DN 200 cover medium flow velocities up to 10 m/s. Thanks to a wide range of high-quality materials, there are numerous possible applications. Grounding electrodes are available as an option. The VMM series is available in both separate and compact designs and is supplied with a calibration certificate as standard. The display electronics allow the sensor configuration to be adapted to the respective requirements.
