The MVB-T and MV-230T evaluation units are powerful components for the digital signal processing of optical measuring systems. They record the signals supplied by the photometer measuring head, evaluate them in real time and reliably calculate the measurement result.
The devices have a modern touchscreen display on which both the measurement results are visualized and all operating elements are clearly displayed. This enables intuitive and user-friendly operation, even in demanding industrial applications.
Thanks to their universal interfaces, the evaluation units are fully compatible with all PIER-ELECTRONIC measuring heads. They are suitable both for new installations and for retrofitting existing photometer systems.
Areas of application: Transmission and reflection measurement
The evaluation units are designed for all typical transmission and reflection measurement applications. The following numbers of measurement programs (calibrations) can be saved and switched as required:

Calibrations can be switched via the menu with user guidance, automatically using defined parameters or externally using control signals. This enables flexible adaptation to changing production conditions or different types of material.
Real-time recording and secure data storage
With the integrated recorder function, measured values can be recorded in real time and shown on the display as scalable curves. The recorded data and application-specific programs can be conveniently saved on a USB stick.
The calibration data is permanently saved in a non-volatile read/write memory. This means that the device configuration is completely retained even in the event of a power failure or restart - an important factor for operational reliability.

The design of the devices is based on a comprehensive user survey and PIER-ELECTRONIC's many years of experience in the development of optical measurement technology. The analysis of the information obtained made it possible to develop a standardized, practical operating concept that meets all the requirements of modern measurement tasks.
The focus of all conceptual decisions was always on simplifying operation. The daily tasks and workflows of users were systematically analyzed and consistently taken into account in the device architecture.

The software of the evaluation unit can be operated in different languages. The following languages can be selected in the "Language" menu by entering the corresponding abbreviation:

If the desired language cannot be selected, the corresponding file is missing on the measuring device. You can download it from the table above and copy it to the measuring device via FTP (target directory: /b/language; see operating instructions).
A special software version is available for Chinese.
