Process calibrators

Process calibrators are used to measure and generate various process variables. These portable and handy instruments are ideal for on-site use. In addition to electrical signals such as current, voltage and resistance, other quantities such as temperature, pressure and frequency can also be measured and generated. Due to the implemented encoder functions, a required parameter can be simulated and a precisely specified value can be displayed at the output. This distinguishes a signal calibrator from the conventional measuring functions of a multimeter. The documentation of calibration results is also effectively supported, either by internal memory and display functions or by convenient external control via PC software. Different combinations of signal types result in different performance characteristics. If only one signal type is implemented in the calibrator, it is a monofunction process calibrator. If several signal types are combined, the result is a multifunction process calibrator. The range includes resistance thermometers (RTD) and thermocouples (TC) with different linearizations as well as associated resistance (Ω) and voltage (mV) signals. Analog current (mA) and voltage (V) signals, frequency (Hz) and pulse (O/C) signals, and pressure (bar) signals complete the range.

Monofunction process calibrators

SIKA's monofunction process calibrators offer excellent performance, durability and reliability. These calibrators for temperature or current loops are compact, lightweight and therefore easy to transport. Thanks to their rubber keys, they are extremely user-friendly. The instruments are insensitive to dust and splash water. The rugged plastic cap protects against shocks, vibrations and oscillations in demanding operating conditions. The shielded 4-mm connection sockets enable fast and secure connection to the devices to be checked.

Multifunction Process Calibrators

SIKA's multifunction process calibrators combine the functions of various individual instruments in one device. The generation and measurement of temperature, pressure, frequency and electrical signals is easily possible. Designed for testing and calibrating a wide range of process signals, these documentation instruments feature precise generation and measurement combined with high accuracy. Operation is either via an intuitive keypad or pull-down menus.
