Safety risk: water in the brake system
Our TMK480-CT brake fluid measuring device is used for process analysis when filling new vehicles with brake fluid.
Our TMK480-CT brake fluid measuring device offers fast, precise and non-contact process analysis when filling new vehicles with brake fluid. It enables continuous monitoring of the water content and reliably detects critical values to ensure safety and quality.
Thanks to its non-contact measurement without interfering with the filling process, the TMK480-CT is an effective alternative to time-consuming boiling point measurements or Karl Fischer titrations, which only allow random sample measurements.
Maintaining the optimum water content in the brake fluid is of great importance for safety on the road. Diffusion, the slightest leaks and the hygroscopicity of brake fluid cause water to continuously accumulate in the filling system and significantly reduce the boiling temperature of the brake fluid. From a water content of 3 percent, there is a risk of total failure of the brake system due to bubble formation.
With the TMK480-CT, you can monitor the water content quickly and accurately, stop the filling process and react in accordance with the factory regulations when the critical value is reached. This ensures that the new vehicles leave the factory with a significantly lower brake fluid moisture content and that the brake system works absolutely reliably until the first scheduled maintenance.
