Our range includes dial thermometers, dial remote thermometers and bimetal dial thermometers. These thermometers operate according to the expansion principle or the bimetallic coil principle. All models comply with DIN EN 13190, Class 1.
Gas pressure dial thermometers are based on the expansion principle. They measure temperature using a non-toxic gas which expands under the influence of temperature and deforms the measuring element. This deformation is converted into rotation of the pointer, causing the pointer deflection to be proportional to the temperature change. These thermometers are ideal for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases in industrial applications. They are durable, require no external power, and can be used in a variety of applications. The diesel engine dial thermometers are specially designed for temperature measurement on large diesel engines and can measure various temperatures such as exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil or charge air temperatures.
Remote gas pressure dial thermometers also operate according to the gas expansion principle. They are a remote indicating variant of the thermometers and offer the same technical features. These remote dial thermometers are optimal for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases on large diesel engines, e.g. in marine propulsion systems or in diesel power generation. They can measure various temperatures, including exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil or charge air temperatures.
Bimetallic dial thermometers operate on the principle of the bimetallic coil. The bimetallic coil is exposed to the medium temperature, causing it to twist as the temperature rises or falls. This twisting is directly transmitted to the pointer, whereby the pointer deflection is proportional to the temperature change. All versions of our bimetallic dial thermometers Type 6xx comply with DIN EN 13190, Class 1.
