SIKA diesel engine dial thermometers offer an ideal solution for measuring temperatures of liquids and gases in large diesel engines such as marine propulsion systems and diesel power generators. They are robust and require no external energy. Depending on the display range, they are suitable for measuring exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil or charge air temperatures.

The local thermometers of type 6312 to 1372 are equipped with flared ring housings made of stainless steel. They comply with EN 13190 and meet class 1. The instruments are available in nominal sizes 63, 80 and 100 mm and have permanently tight (IP65) flared cases filled with silicone oil as standard to protect them against vibration.

The common display ranges extend from 0...100°C to 50...650°C. The diesel engine dial thermometers have a smooth immersion tube and a sliding compression fitting with G½ or G¾ male thread. The standard immersion tube diameter is 10 mm (NG 63) and 12 mm (NG 80 and 100). For NG 80 and 100, 13 mm is optionally available at no extra charge. The immersion tube in sheathed probe design is optimized for heavy-duty use. Matching solid protection tubes are available on request.
