Type 471 - 492 B Mechanical thermometer with male thread HKL Polyamide version -30...200°C

We have optimized our machine thermometer especially for the requirements in the field of heating and air conditioning applications and thus offer an absolutely reliable measuring instrument at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Two different housing designs and three different housing sizes are available.

Housing

The nominal sizes 110, 150 or 200 mm of the housing are made of V-shaped aluminum painted gold. The numbers of the display range are permanently printed on the right-hand scale cheek. The housing is connected to the immersion tube by means of a grooved pin and locking screw, which eliminates the need to rotate the housing during installation. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the housing is 160 °C.

Glass insert (capillary)

Prismatic capillary in the form of a rod is made of solid glass and has a diameter of about 8 mm. The background is white background and the liquid filling is blue. The graduation of the capillary is burned black and thus particularly durable. The main graduation lines, which correspond to the numbers printed on the case, are made particularly strong and distinctive.

Thermometric filling

In the standard version, the wetting liquid is blue and suitable for temperatures up to 200 °C.

Immersion tube

As standard, the immersion tube is made of type B brass with a G½ connection thread. The diameter is 10 mm with a wall thickness of 1 mm. A stainless steel version is also available on request.

Graduation values and error limits

SIKA machine thermometers meet the requirements of DIN 16195 "Requirements and testing of machine glass thermometers". Graduation values and error limits are defined depending on the housing size and the measuring range. For example, a typical thermometer for heating applications, model 291 HBZ with a display range of 0...120 °C, has a scale interval of 2 °C and an error limit of 1 °C.

SIKA machine thermometers are available in various designs, including straight and angle designs with an angle of 90 degrees. The housing size varies between 110 x 36 mm, 150 x 36 mm and 200 x 36 mm, depending on the version. The display range also varies, ranging from -30...50°C to 0...200°C.

The immersion tube length is also an important factor in choosing the right SIKA machine thermometer. Lengths range from 63 mm up to 250 mm, depending on requirements. The immersion tube material also varies between brass, brazed and stainless steel, welded. The nominal pressure is either PN 16 or PN 35.
