The Humimeter FS3 is a professional moisture meter for coffee, cocoa and many other types of food, luxury foods, cereals and whole grains. It has a powerful data logger that allows measured values to be saved and retrieved later. In addition, the display can freeze the measured values until the next time the button is pressed thanks to a hold function.

To achieve high measuring accuracy and reproducibility, the measurement is hectoliter-compensated. Precise weighing of the sample quantity is ensured by a balance and a measuring beaker, which are included in the scope of delivery of the moisture analyzer. Different bulk densities therefore have no negative influence on the measurements. The entire food moisture meter series has been calibrated and verified using the calibratable kiln method EN-ISO 712.

The moisture analyzer also measures the sample temperature and includes this in the moisture calculation. The temperature range extends from 0°C to 40°C. The calibrated measuring range of the Humimeter FS3 is between 0% and 40% water content (depending on the type).

The measuring process of the Humimeter FS3 is simple and fast. After switching on, a self-calibration takes place automatically. Subsequently, the appropriate characteristic curve for the food to be measured is selected. The measuring chamber is filled with the specified amount of whole grain, which can be accurately determined by the scale and measuring cup. The water content can then be read immediately on the large, illuminated display. The measured values can be stored and further processed with the integrated data logger.
