The FSO Grain Online Moisture Measurement System is a precise, fully automatic online measurement system for whole grain grain grain moisture measurement in bypass. It features integrated hectoliter weight determination and infrared sample temperature measurement and is used for discontinuous measurement of grain moisture for quality control, documentation and process control. It was specially developed for use in mills, grain processing companies or in the grain trade.
The system is already calibrated and suitable for the measurement of corn, rye, triticale, wheat, durum wheat, hulled buckwheat and spelt, hulled and unhulled millet, sorghum, barley, oats, canola, soybeans, horse beans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, rice, feed peas and linseed. Other products and even special products can be calibrated on request.
Application area
Periodic sampling for quality control is prone to errors and provides only a snapshot of production. The stability of the production process cannot be adequately documented with individual measurements, and necessary corrections can only be made with a delay because measuring the water content in the laboratory is time-consuming.
Especially when recognized reference methods have to be applied. Nowadays, quality demands require seamless monitoring of production data. Continuous quality assurance is necessary not only to guarantee consistent quality of the end products, but also to document it. Traceability of production data must be guaranteed.
