The infrared pyrometer KTRD 1085 of the KTRD 1085-1 series is designed for demanding temperature monitoring in high-temperature applications. With a wide measuring range of 550 to 4000 °C, it is ideal for monitoring steel, ceramics, glass tanks, hardening processes, induction heating, forging and other industrial applications such as rolling, vacuum furnaces and welding.

The KTRD 1085 has variably adjustable optics (focusable lens) and a precise aiming device that ensures accurate alignment and measurement. The adjustable emissivity allows adaptation to different surfaces and materials, and parameters such as analog output (0-20/4-20 mA), zoom range and emissivity can be individually adjusted via the serial interface.

With the IR-LOG software, additional functions such as averaging (arithmetic or sliding) and a maximum value memory are available, enabling reliable data acquisition and analysis. The robust KTRD 1085 is specially designed for extreme temperature ranges and is suitable for industrial processes such as glass processing, forging, hardening and other high temperature applications where precise temperature control is essential.
