Humidity transmitters for maximum temperatures of 120 °C are an important component in the measurement of humidity and temperature in manufacturing processes, further processing, storage and transport in various industries, such as laboratory, air conditioning and drying technology, wood processing, food, feed, construction and paper industries, printing, agriculture, biotechnology and medicine.
The LF-TD transmitter series in a robust and easy-to-mount aluminum housing is ideally suited for this purpose. With a 500mm long and robust sensor tube (Ø 12mm) made of stainless steel with screwed-on sensor cap, you can use the LF-TD 120 temperature and humidity transmitter in many ways. Various sensor caps, such as steel sinter, bronze sinter, plastic with or without filter paper, are available as optional accessories.
By default, the humidity and temperature values are output via analog 4-20mA current output. Optionally, other interfaces such as RS232, Profinet, Modbus or USB can be used. An additional extension of the application possibilities offers an optional display, on which the current humidity and temperature values can be read.
Two optional relay outputs enable direct control of e.g. alarms or ventilation. These switching outputs can be freely configured, e.g. switching points and hysteresis.
Trouble-free connection to an existing plant is guaranteed by the supplied 5 meter long connection cable including overmolded, robust sensor plug (sensor side). The second side of the cable is equipped with wire end ferrules for easy connection, e.g. in the control cabinet.
The capacitive humidity sensor used guarantees long-term stable, accurate measurement results and is resistant to normal contamination and many chemicals. The sensors installed in the humidity transducers are also characterized by very fast adjustment behavior. The high measuring accuracy of the LF-TD series is ensured by factory calibration at six humidity points. A calibration certificate is available on request.
