MVR / FVR - Venturi PPS nozzle for air volume measurement in pipelines
sensor for flow measurement of gases Cost-effective on-site display for all ventilation applications Socket or flange version Manufactured according to DIN EN ISO 5167 Combination with display unit or transmitter possible
The Venturi tube is a primary element for measuring the flow of liquids, gases and vapors in pipelines and can be used with all media. The Venturi tube described here has been specially designed for measuring air volumes in ventilation ducts. The Venturi tube is installed in the system using push-fit sockets with corresponding lip seals or optionally also using a flange connection.
The Venturi tube consists of a one-piece housing made of PPs, which ensures a high fitting accuracy and optimum centering thanks to sleeves and flange connections on both sides. The Venturi nozzle is manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 5167 with an inlet profile in accordance with ISA 1932. The special forming process of the thermoplastic material enables a precise fit and extremely smooth surfaces, which ensure a favorable flow pattern and precise measurement results without costly reworking.
The pressure taps have 4 - 5 individual holes in the cylindrical neck section, which lead into an annular chamber.
Indicators (DA2000) with a scale in m³/h or transmitters (DS85 or DS200) for remote transmission of the measurement signal are available for further evaluation. The exact design of the indicators or transmitters depends on the design data, which must be clarified in advance.
The Venturi tube is a primary element for flow measurement of liquids, vapors and gases and is used in various applications. Here are some examples of venturi tube applications:
- Water supply: Venturi tubes are used in water supply systems to measure and regulate the flow of water in pipes and tubes.
- Chemical industry: Venturi tubes are used in the chemical industry to measure the flow of various liquids and gases in production processes.
- Wastewater treatment: Venturi tubes are used in wastewater treatment to measure and control the flow of wastewater in treatment plants.
- Power plants: Venturi tubes are used in power plants to measure and control the flow of steam and gases in turbines and power plants.
- Oil and gas industry: Venturi tubes are used in the oil and gas industry to measure and control the flow of oil and gas in pipelines and well flows.
These are just a few examples of applications for Venturi tubes. They are used in many different industries and applications where precise measurements of flow rates of liquids, gases and vapors are required.
