To obtain accurate measurement results when measuring the moisture of kraft paper and packaging paper, the P2 meter should be at the same temperature as the product being measured. It is recommended that the meter be stored near the sample being measured. To perform the measurement, switch on the P2 gauge, hold it with appropriate contact pressure on the product or slide it along the product roll in the longitudinal direction to search for moisture streaks. The contact pressure of the P2 measuring device should be approximately constant for each measurement in order to obtain accurate measurement results.
The absolute moisture can be read immediately on the LCD display of the P2 meter. The calibrated measuring range of the P2 meter for measuring the moisture content of kraft paper and packaging paper extends from 3% to 10% water content with a resolution of 0.1%.
The entire measuring process with the P2 moisture analyzer for packaging and kraft paper is completed in a very short time and the measurement results are available immediately.
The P2 meter is available both with accessories (P2 meter, battery, rubber protection, wooden case and test plate) and without accessories (P2 meter with battery).
