The PMSA Paper Single Sheet Moisture Analyzer is a laboratory measuring device that determines the absolute water content of individual sheets of paper. Paper moisture. You can use the device to analyze samples directly from the paper machine or to carry out incoming and outgoing inspections of paper sheets.
The evaluation of the measurement results is carried out on the PC with the intuitive PC software, which combines measured value display, grade calibration and measurement data management including export in one clear user interface. State-of-the-art and long-term stable sensor technology guarantees a precise measurement result as well as an exceptionally high repeatability. To ensure maximum measurement accuracy, an automatic self-calibration of the sensor is performed before each measurement.
To use the instrument, install the supplied "PMSA" software on your PC and connect the PMSA Paper Moisture Analyzer to the PC using the supplied USB cable. In the software, select the paper grade to be measured and start the measurement process. After self-calibration of the sensor, insert the paper into the analyzer and the instrument will display the determined water content on the screen within a few seconds.
You can now add additional data such as a batch number to the measurement result and save it in a database. It is also possible to export the data (csv, html, xls) or print it out. The software allows you to create and calibrate additional paper types at any time to further improve measurement accuracy.
