Handling and operation

To use the meter, turn it on, select the correct characteristic (depending on the fiber type) and insert the meter into the stack.

The measurement result is immediately shown on the display, large quantities of pulp or pulp can be measured in a very short time without removing individual layers from the stacks.

The device has a memory for up to 10,000 measured values as well as the option to record additional data such as batch numbers. For each stored series of measurements, the device automatically calculates the average value. The meter has two robust electrodes that need to be inserted into the stack and there is a removable handle on the back of the device for easy handling.

You can transfer the measurement results to a PC using the optionally available USB interface and archive, evaluate, export or print them with the LogMemorizer PC software. With this instrument you can quickly and easily measure the water content of pulp or pulp and store and transfer the results without having to remove individual layers from the stacks.

Application area

The Humimeter PMZ allows you to quickly check the water content of stacked pulp sheets without having to remove individual sheets. You can determine the water content directly in the stack within a few seconds, e.g. during picking, packaging or goods receipt. The meter also offers automatic averaging for whole blocks, deliveries or batches.

To measure the water content and temperature of the pulp directly in the stack, simply insert the double electrodes of the Humimeter PMZ into the stacked sheets. The measurement result is immediately shown on the display. The meter is suitable for a wide range of pulp products, including pulp, fiber pulp, long fiber pulp, short fiber pulp, hardwood pulp, softwood pulp, sulfite pulp, sulfate pulp, pulp bales, pulp sheets and pulp sheets.

You can also use the device to assign a running batch number. The measurement data can then be transferred via USB or Bluetooth using the LogMemorizer PC evaluation software and provided as a csv export for your QA system. With the Humimeter PMZ you can quickly and easily measure the water content of pulp and efficiently store and transfer the results.
