The RH6 moisture meter enables precise, non-contact measurement of moisture in paper stacks for optimum paper quality and process control.
The Humimeter RH6 paper hygrometer is a powerful moisture meter with sword probe for determining the moisture in paper stacks. The moisture is determined by piercing the sword probe directly into the paper stack. The sword probe is protected in a sleeve to avoid damage. The measured values are shown on the display of the Humimeter RH6 after a short adjustment time and can be stored via the data logger, provided with additional data and called up later. The auto data logger makes it possible to automatically store the measured paper moisture values at adjustable time intervals.
To protect the sword probe, a sword sleeve and a sword sleeve extractor are supplied. The sword sleeve is knocked into the paper stack and the RH6 is inserted into it to perform the measurement. The sleeve has no influence on the measurement result. After the measurement, the RH6 is pulled out of the sleeve, the sleeve can then be effortlessly removed from the stack with the sword sleeve extractor.
The RH6 also measures the sample temperature, which is included in the humidity calculation. The temperature range is from -10°C to 60°C and can be displayed either in °C or °F. The RH6 can also output the current absolute humidity or dew point temperature. The RH6's calibrated measurement range is from 10% to 90% relative humidity, with humidity directly related to paper moisture when using the sword probe in the stack. The instrument can also be used to measure the humidity in a room.
The RH6 has a serial interface for connection to a PC. With the software "LogMemorizer" the values can be read out, edited, archived, exported and further processed. The software is included in the scope of delivery.
