Type 174 - 175 A Mechanical thermometer with weld-in immersion tube District heating version made of aluminum 0 ...160°C

Measuring accuracy according to DIN 16195 / Not subject to aging, as no moving parts and no mechanical wear / Lifetime warranty / Completely without electrical auxiliary power

The original SIKA thermometer has a high-quality V-shaped aluminum housing, which is polished smooth on all sides and anodized in gold. The numbers of the display range are permanently and indelibly imprinted in the anodized layer on the right-hand scale cheek.

Our machine thermometers are available as standard in three nominal sizes and offer many indication ranges from -30...50 °C to 0...250 °C in straight or angle 90° versions. They are available with brass, steel, stainless steel, special brass or copper-nickel alloy immersion tubes and a variety of selectable connection types and threads. Our standard range comprises a total of more than 17,000 variants.

Housing

The nominal size of the housing is 110 mm, and it is made of aluminum. The case is V-shaped, polished smooth on all sides and anodized brass color. The numbers of the display range are permanently housed in the anodized layer on the right-hand scale cheek. By means of a brass lock nut (SW22), the housing is adjustable and can be read in any viewing direction. For 90° angle thermometers, the immersion tube is connected to the housing by a grooved pin and a locking screw. The advantage is that no turning of the housing is required during mounting.

Glass insert (capillary)

The prismatic capillary insert in rod form is made of solid glass with a diameter of about 8 mm and a white background with blue liquid filling. The graduation of the capillary is burned black, which makes it absolutely durable. Main graduation lines, which correspond to the numbers printed on the case, are made particularly strong and distinctive.

Thermometric filling

The thermometer is equipped as standard with a thermometric liquid blue ("Fü") for the temperature range from -30 to 200 °C.

Immersion tube

As standard, the immersion tube is made of steel, and for type "A" the diameter is 12 mm.

Graduation values and error limits

SIKA machine thermometers meet the requirements of DIN 16195 "Requirements and testing of machine glass thermometers". The scale graduation values and error limits are defined depending on the housing size and the display range.
