The digital thermometers of the DiTemp product series work with a discrete-time measuring method and allow a cycle time of the measurement from 3 seconds, so that the observer can read a current measured value in passing. The LCD-based display is easy to read and two different display versions are available. The analog display gives you an overview comparable to conventional pointer instruments, while the 3½-digit 7-segment display lets you read the exact temperature value.

The instruments of the DiTemp series have a robust mechanical construction and are designed for industrial use as well as for use in harsh environmental conditions. They meet the requirements of the applicable industrial standards in terms of immunity to electromagnetic interference.

After start-up, the instrument performs an internal self-test which also checks the functionality of the connected probe. Automatic diagnostic routines in the microprocessor permanently monitor the sensor signal for plausibility and can thus signal a sensor break via the display unit by showing the results as a message.

All operating states are monitored by the electronics, which means a much more reliable and long-term stable measuring system for the user compared to mechanical devices.
