  • Here, the test object is immersed directly in a calibration fluid, such as silicone oil, which ensures direct temperature transfer. As a result, there are no insulating air gaps and optimum temperature tightness between the calibrator and the test object is guaranteed.
  • The infinitely variable control of the magnetic agitator and the pull-out sensor basket ensure an even distribution of the calibration liquid and a uniform measuring zone. The basket protects the bottom of the tank and ensures an undisturbed stirring process.

Dry block function:

  • The dry block function enables simple and precise calibration of temperature sensors in laboratory and field applications.
  • By using the correct adapter sleeve, the optimum thermal coupling between the block and the test specimen is achieved. The sleeve should have an internal diameter that is approximately 0.5 mm larger than the external diameter of the test specimen.
  • Almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters can be calibrated with the adapter sleeves.
  • The dry block covers the entire temperature range from -35 to 165 °C without having to change the calibration medium. The user therefore does not have to take viscosities, flash points or outgassing into account.
