The test item is immersed directly in a calibration liquid, such as silicone oil. This creates a direct temperature transfer without insulating air gaps and ensures optimum temperature tightness between the calibrator and the test item.
- The infinitely variable control of the magnetic agitator and the pull-out sensor basket ensure an even distribution of the calibration liquid and a uniform measuring zone. The basket protects the bottom of the tank and ensures an undisturbed stirring process.
Dry block function:
- The dry block function enables simple and precise calibration of temperature sensors both in the laboratory and on site.
- Optimum thermal coupling between the block and the test specimen is achievedby selecting the correct adapter sleeve. This should have an internal diameter that is 0.5 mm larger than the external diameter of the test specimen.
- The dry block covers the entire temperature range from -30 °C to 165 °C without having to change the calibration medium. The user does not have to worry about viscosities, flash points or outgassing, which makes the calibration process much easier and faster.
