Dry block function: Fast and accurate calibration

The dry block function of SIKA temperature calibrators is designed to enable easy-to-perform and precise calibration - both in the field and in the laboratory. The use of dry block technology eliminates the need for liquid calibration media, which significantly simplifies the entire calibration process.

Efficient heat transfer: Optimum thermal coupling is ensured by using the appropriate adapter sleeve. Ideally, the bore of the sleeve should have an inner diameter that is 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test specimen. This adaptation guarantees accurate and reliable measurement results.
Universal compatibility: With the right adapter sleeves, almost all straight temperature sensors can be calibrated, regardless of length and diameter.

Large temperature coverage without medium change

The dry block technology makes it possible to cover a wide temperature range without having to change the calibration medium. This means that the user does not have to take any special precautions with regard to viscosities, flash points or outgassing.
