Microbath function: For unusual sensor geometries
The microbath function of the TP 37200E.2 offers advantages when calibrating temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions. The test specimen is immersed directly in the calibration liquid (e.g. silicone oil) without insulating air gaps, which enables direct temperature transfer between the calibrator and the test specimen.
- Calibration liquid: Is selected according to the required calibration temperature.
- Magnetic stirrer: The infinitely variable control of the magnetic stirrer ensures optimum turbulence of the calibration liquid and uniform temperature distribution.
- Sensor basket: The pull-out sensor basket protects the bottom of the tank and ensures trouble-free stirring.
Dry block function: Precise and simple calibration
The dry block function was developed to enable fast and precise calibration of temperature sensors in the laboratory and in the field.
- Optimum heat transfer: Precise thermal coupling between the block and the test specimen is ensured by the appropriate adapter sleeve. The sleeve should have an internal diameter that is approximately 0.5 mm larger than the external diameter of the test specimen to enable precise calibration.
- Universal application: Almost all straight temperature sensors of different lengths and diameters can be calibrated with the adapter sleeves. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without having to change the calibration medium.
Blackbody function: Calibration of infrared pyrometers
For the calibration of infrared pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used, which forms a "black cavity radiator" with an emission factor of 0.9994.
- Avoid interference radiation: The special surface structure and asymmetrical shapes prevent the reflection of interfering radiation.
- Easy to use: The pyrometer is held at the prescribed distance above the measuring opening in order to image the desired measuring spot at the bottom of the sleeve. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function: Precise surface calibration
Special sleeves are used to calibrate surface temperature sensors, which are placed vertically with the required contact pressure. By switching to the external reference sensor, the best temperature reference point is achieved on the surface of the sleeve.
- Precise temperature control: The reference sensor is located directly under the face of the sleeve and ensures precise temperature measurement on the surface.
