SIKA's temperature calibrators are used in various industries and fields of application - whether for on-site use in workshops, in the measuring and test room or laboratory. The TP Premium series covers a wide range of applications such as assembly, commissioning, manufacturing, production, maintenance, service, quality assurance, test equipment monitoring and repair.
Microbath function: The use of calibration liquids offers advantages when checking temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions. The DUT is placed directly into the liquid without insulating air gaps, resulting in a direct temperature seal between the calibrator and the DUT. The liquid, for example silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. Continuous control of the magnetic stirrer in combination with a pull-out sensor basket ensures turbulence of the calibration liquid and a large measuring zone. The sensor basket protects the tank bottom and allows undisturbed stirring operation.
Dry block function: The dry block function was developed to allow easy calibration of the temperature in laboratory and field use. Optimal thermal coupling from block to test specimen is achieved by using the correct transition sleeve. The adapter sleeve can be used to calibrate almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without changing the calibration medium and allows calibration without regard to viscosities, flash points or outgassing.
Black radiator function: A patented infrared calibration sleeve is used to calibrate IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras. The special surface structure and the asymmetric shapes form a "black cavity radiator" with an emission factor of 0.9994 and prevent the reflection of interfering radiation. The pyrometer is simply held at the prescribed distance above the measuring aperture and forms the desired measuring spot for the calibration to be performed on the ground. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function: Surface temperature sensors are calibrated with special sleeves placed vertically with the required contact force. The best possible temperature reference point on the surface of the sleeve is made possible by switching the calibrator control to the external reference probe, which is located directly under the front surface of the sleeve. The sleeve is designed so that in the center of the front surface the best temperature hom
