Microbath function: Optimum calibration for special sensor shapes
The microbath function offers particular advantages when calibrating temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions. The test specimen is immersed directly in the calibration liquid without insulating air gaps, which enables direct temperature transfer between the calibrator and the test specimen.
- Calibration liquid: The selection of the liquid, such as silicone oil, is based on the required calibration temperature.
- Magnetic stirrer: The infinitely variable control of the magnetic stirrer ensures uniform turbulence of the calibration liquid and a stable measuring zone.
- Sensor basket: A pull-out sensor basket protects the bottom of the tank and enables undisturbed stirring.

- Easy handling: The pyrometer is held at the prescribed distance above the measuring opening to calibrate the desired measuring spot. A tripod can be mounted directly.
Surface temperature function: Precise calibration of surface sensors
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are fitted with the necessary contact pressure. The calibrator control is switched to an external reference sensor located directly under the face of the sleeve to ensure the best possible temperature reference.
