SIKA temperature calibrators are used in various areas, be it in assembly, commissioning, manufacturing, production, maintenance, service, quality assurance, test equipment monitoring or repair.

To calibrate temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions, the microbath function is recommended. Here, the test specimen is placed directly into the calibration liquid (e.g. silicone oil) without insulating air gaps, resulting in a direct temperature seal. The built-in magnetic stirrer ensures a large measuring zone and the pull-out sensor basket serves to protect the tank bottom.

For the dry block function, an optimum thermal coupling from block to test specimen was achieved by using the correct transition sleeve. This allows almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters to be calibrated without changing the calibration medium.

For the calibration of IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras the patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. The special surface structure and the asymmetric shapes form a "black cavity radiator" with emission factor 0.9994 and prevent the reflection of interfering radiation and emit the desired temperature in ideal form.

The surface temperature function enables the calibration of surface temperature sensors by means of special sleeves which are placed vertically with the required contact force. A best possible temperature reference point is achieved by switching the calibrator control to the external reference probe.

The extensive range of accessories for the TP Premium series enables time-saving calibration setups, such as the use of a barcode scanner for quick identification of test items. The possibility to connect an external measuring bridge directly to the calibrators allows the simultaneous calibration of several DUTs with automatic generation of factory test certificates.
