SIKA temperature calibrators are versatile and find application in on-site use in workshops, measuring and test rooms as well as laboratories. For checking temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions, the microbath function offers advantages. Here, the test specimen is placed directly into the calibration liquid without insulating air gaps to create a direct temperature seal between the calibrator and the test specimen. The infinitely variable control of the magnetic stirrer and the pull-out sensor basket swirl the calibration liquid and create a large measuring zone. The sensor basket also ensures undisturbed stirring operation and serves to protect the tank bottom.

For easy calibration of the temperature in laboratory and field use, the dry block function was developed. Optimum thermal coupling from block to test specimen is achieved by the correct adapter sleeve, which ideally has a bore with an inner diameter 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test specimen. Almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters can be calibrated using the transition sleeve. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without changing the calibration medium and no consideration of viscosities, flash points or outgassing is required.

In addition, the extensive range of accessories for the TP Premium series allows time-saving calibration setups. DUTs can, for example, be recognized via barcode scanner and an ongoing or already completed calibration process can be displayed via WLAN connection on a PC or smartphone anywhere in the world. The possibility of connecting an external measuring bridge directly to the calibrators enables the simultaneous calibration of many DUTs, including the automatic generation of individual factory test certificates.
