SIKA flow limiters are designed to maintain a constant flow of water or aqueous media and are used in the following applications:
- Cooling water systems
- Water treatment
- Sanitary installations
- Industrial water distribution systems
Due to the differential pressure, the cross-section of the flow medium in the control unit is adjusted accordingly. If the pressure drops, the gap opening is enlarged, while it is reduced when the pressure rises, in order to keep the flow through the SIKA flow limiter constant.
The nominal sizes of SIKA flow limiters include DN 15 and DN 20, while the control value for the flow varies between 1 and 30 l/min. The pipe sections are made of brass CW617N.
