Functionality

The liquid flowing through the sensor is divided into partial flows by a perforated disk, which hit the rotor evenly and cause it to rotate. The rotor, which is equipped with magnets, is detected by a Hall-effect sensor that converts the rotary movement into an electrical pulse signal (frequency). The resulting signal is a frequency signal proportional to the flow rate (square wave signal).

• Uniform load: Thanks to the uniform flow on the bearing, the forces are largely eliminated, which minimizes wear.
• Bearing quality: The bearings are made of extremely hard materials such as sapphire and carbide, which guarantee an exceptionally long service life.
