The Humimeter FS1 is a handy and efficient moisture meter, which is especially appreciated for the water content determination of barley. However, it is also suitable for many other types of grain. Its handiness makes it ideal for measurements directly in the field. The measured values can be "frozen" on the display with a hold function until the next keystroke. The measurement is hectoliter-compensated, which increases measurement accuracy and reproducibility. Accurate weighing of the sample quantity is required for this purpose. A balance and a measuring beaker are included in the scope of delivery of the moisture analyzer. Different bulk densities therefore have no negative influence on the measurements. The entire grain moisture meter series has been calibrated and checked by means of the calibratable kiln drying method EN-ISO 712.

The FS1 humimeter also measures the sample temperature, which is included in the moisture calculation. The temperature range extends from 0°C to 40°C. The Humimeter FS1 whole grain moisture meter has a calibrated measuring range of 5% to 30% water content (depending on the type of grain). Unhulled grain

 

The Humimeter FS1 grain moisture meter calibrates itself automatically when switched on to ensure long-term precise measurement results. For the measurement of the respective grain type, the appropriate characteristic curve must be selected on the FS1.

To perform the measurement, the measuring chamber of the grain moisture meter is filled with the specified amount of the corresponding whole grain. A scale and a measuring cup are included in the scope of delivery of the Humimeter moisture meter and enable an exact determination of the grain quantity.

 

The water content can be read immediately on the large, illuminated display.

The Humimeter FS1 moisture meter for whole grains is specially designed for field control in agriculture and requires only a small sample quantity to provide accurate measurement results.
