BRC moisture transmitter enables online measurement of the water content of dry wood chips

Areas of application:

The Humimeter BRC enables precise online measurement of the water content of very dry industrial wood chips up to wood chip class P100. The professional measuring device is mainly used in bunkers of wood gasification plants or pellet or chipboard productions and can be easily integrated into existing plants. With the Humimeter BRC, operators of wood gasification plants can sustainably monitor and control the drying process of the wood chips.

The connection to a control system is made by means of a 4-20mA analog output for water content and temperature measurement. Calibration curves (characteristic curves) for various bulk solids are created by Schaller Messtechnik GmbH in its own laboratory. Furthermore, the Humimeter BRC is available in a high temperature version from +5 to +85°C.
