MBT plug-in orifice plate to DIN19206 300 °C liquids, gases and vapors
Orifice plates with circular cross-section are used for flow measurement of gases. They are installed in the pipeline between flanges with smooth sealing strips. The pressure taps are mounted on the pipeline at a distance D upstream from the orifice plate (plus pressure tapping) and D/2 downstream (minus pressure tapping). The plug-in orifices are calculated according to DIN EN ISO 5167.
Orifice plates with circular cross-section are used for flow measurement of gases. They are installed between flanges with smooth sealing strips in the pipeline. The pressure tapping connections are installed upstream of the orifice plate (positive pressure tapping) and downstream of the orifice plate (negative pressure tapping) on the pipeline at a distance D or D/2.
The orifice plates are calculated according to DIN EN ISO 5167 to ensure precise flow measurement.
Orifice plates are mainly used in gas flow measurement to determine the volume flow of gases in pipelines. Here are some examples of orifice plate applications:
- Gas supply: Orifice plates are used in gas supply to measure gas consumption and gas flows in pipelines.
- Chemical industry: Orifice plates are used in the chemical industry to measure the flow of gases in pipelines of chemical processes.
- Energy supply: Orifice plates are used in the energy supply industry to measure the flow of gases in pipelines of power plants and gas turbines.
- Petrochemical: Orifice plates are used in the petrochemical industry to measure the flow of gases in pipelines of refineries and chemical plants.
- Waste management: Orifice plates are used in waste management to measure the gas flow in landfills and biogas plants.
These are just a few examples of orifice plate applications. They are used in many different industries and applications where it is important to precisely measure the flow of gases in pipelines.
