Type 174 - 292 HBZ/WBZ Mechanical thermometer with external thread HKL version made of aluminum -30...200°C

We have optimized our machine thermometer especially for use in heating and air-conditioning applications and equipped it with an unbeatable price-performance ratio. We offer two different housing designs and three different housing sizes for these applications.

Housing

The housings are made of gold-colored painted aluminum and are available in nominal sizes of 110, 150 or 200 mm. The numbers of the indicating range are permanently and durably printed on the right-hand scale cheek. The housing and immersion tube are connected by a grooved pin and a locking screw, which means that no turning of the housing is required during installation. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing is 160 °C.

Glass insert (capillary)

The capillaries are prismatic rods made of solid glass with a diameter of about 8 mm. They have a white background with blue liquid filling and the graduation of the capillary is burnt black and thus absolutely durable. The main graduation lines, which correspond to the numbers printed on the case, are made particularly strong and distinctive.

Thermometric filling

The standard version has a wetting liquid in blue ("Fü") up to 200 °C.

Immersion tube

The standard brass immersion tube is type B with a connection thread of G½. The diameter of the immersion tube is 10 mm and the wall thickness is 1 mm. A stainless steel version is also available on request.

Graduation values and error limits

SIKA machine thermometers meet the requirements of DIN 16195 "Requirements and testing of machine glass thermometers". The scale graduation values and error limits are defined depending on the housing size and the measuring range. For example, a 291 HBZ thermometer typical for heating applications with a display range of 0...120 °C has a scale interval of 2 °C and an error limit of 1 °C.
