Type VHS Level monitor metal version with device plug

Lateral installation by means of G¾ or G½ male thread / Easy alignment by means of union fitting / Brass or stainless steel / Versatile use due to float options

SIKA level monitors are reliably used to monitor liquid levels and provide protection against dry running, overflow and leakage. They are installed laterally by means of a G¾ or G½ thread and the proven float principle as well as a potential-free contact as a signal transmitter ensure high functional reliability.

As the level in the tank rises, the float is lifted and, via the paddle system, the magnet changes its position to the reed contact to actuate it. The repulsion between the permanent magnets with the same polarity supports the buoyancy. As soon as the level drops again, the float also follows and actuates the reed contact again.

The factory-set switching function can be changed by the customer. The reed contact used as a signal transmitter consists of two ferromagnetic contact tongues located in a glass bulb filled with inert gas, which virtually eliminates wear due to contact firing. This design enables a service life of up to 100 million switching cycles.

SIKA level monitors are available in G 3/4 and G 1/2 process connections. Various floats are available, including ball float, cylindrical float and angled ball float. The electrical connection is made via cable plug DIN EN 175301-803-A incl. cable socket, cable plug DIN EN 175301-803-A incl. LED cable socket or 4-pin round plug M12 x 1. The process connection can be either brass CW614N or stainless steel 1.4571 and there is a standard as well as an ex-insert version.
