Type VT20 Turbine flow sensors with threaded connection Design for HVAC and industrial application 1 ...42 l/min DN 20

With protective circuit / High resolution of the output signal

The SIKA turbine flow sensor type VT20 is used for flow measurement and dosing in water and water mixtures. It is used in various applications such as:

- Monitoring of cooling circuits in mechanical and plant engineering

- Water treatment

- Cleaning processes

- Dosage

The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is divided into partial jets by the guide vanes. These impinge uniformly from different directions on the impeller and cause it to rotate. The speed of the impeller is now converted into an electrical pulse signal (frequency). The impeller is equipped with magnets and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotational movement. A flow proportional frequency signal (square wave signal) is available.

Thanks to the geometry of the guide vanes and impeller, it is possible to realize very low start-up values.

The product has a process connection with G 1 male thread and uses a Hall effect sensor as measuring transducer.

Two resolutions are available for the output signal: 4.3 ml/pulse and 8.6 ml/pulse. The supply voltage can be between 10...30 VDC, 4.5...26.5 VDC or 4.5...24 VDC depending on the requirements and application.

It is possible to integrate a sieve filter to reduce impurities in the medium. Alternatively, it can also be ordered without a sieve filter.
