The calibrated continuous water content measurement system is a powerful instrument that provides accurate, real-time information on the water content of various materials such as wood chips, pellets and sawdust. This innovative technology is used in a wide range of applications and helps to improve product quality and efficiency.

One of the remarkable features of this system is its wide measuring range. For wood chips, the water content can be measured in the range from 2 to 60%, which corresponds to about 150% wood moisture. For pellets, the measuring range is between 2 and 20% water content. In addition, the system offers temperature compensation in the range from -10 to +50°C to ensure accurate measurement results regardless of the temperature conditions.

The supply voltage is 24VDC in the range from 15 to 29VDC, which allows flexible integration into different environments. The 4-20mA analog outputs for water content allow easy transmission of measurement data to other control systems or display devices. The scaling of the analog outputs (4-20mA) corresponds to a range of 0-80%, with 0.2 mA per percentage point.

The system has an integrated display and keypad in the housing of the humidity transmitter, which facilitates operation and monitoring on site.

The BLC humidity transmitter with connection cable is included with the system. The compact dimensions of 226 x 156 x 90 mm and a weight of 2.5 kg make installation and handling simple and uncomplicated.

The high-precision measuring device is an indispensable instrument for process optimization in wood gasification plants as well as in pellet and chipboard production. It can be seamlessly integrated into existing plants. Especially for operators of wood gasification plants, the Humimeter BLC is the ideal tool for sustainable quality control of the drying process.

With the Humimeter BLC, the water content is determined in real time during the production process. Through appropriate control, the efficiency of the entire plant is increased. Moisture measurement of wood chips, shavings and pellets can be carried out very easily and quickly with the Humimeter BLC, as the device is already calibrated. A connection to a control system is possible via the 4-20mA analog output. In addition, specific calibration curves (characteristic curves) for various bulk materials are created in Schaller Messtechnik GmbH's own laboratory.

Advantages
