Type induQ VMM Magnetic Inductive flow sensors with flange connection Metal version Measuring range 0...18833.3 l/min DN 15...200
Magnetic-inductive flow sensor for large nominal diameters DN15...200 / No mechanical wear / Robust industrial design / Simple menu-driven operation / Programming via display / Supplied with factory test certificate
The electromagnetic flow sensors of the VMM series, called induQ®, are precise measuring devices for electrically conductive liquids and, due to their robust design, are also suitable for harsher ambient conditions.
The magnetic-inductive flow sensor type VMM from SIKA is used in the following areas, among others:
- Water and wastewater treatment
- Mining, cement and mineral industry
- Pulp and paper production
- Steel industry
- Energy industry and utilities
- Agribusiness
The intelligent flow sensors of the induQ® series operate according to the induction principle: The measuring tube is located in a magnetic field (B). When an electrically conductive medium flows through the measuring tube at right angles to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced which is proportional to the average flow velocity and is tapped by two electrodes. Two variants are available for an output signal proportional to the flow:
- Frequency output signal
- Analog and frequency output signal
The pulse rate can be configured at the factory depending on the type.
