The oval wheel meters are displacement volume meters that transport defined partial volumes in individual measuring chambers. The measuring element consists of two high-precision, toothed oval wheels, which are driven by the flow of the medium and roll on each other. In this way, a specific volume is transported with each revolution of the pair of oval wheels. The number of revolutions is a measure of the volume of liquid passed through, which is detected by a sensor element.

SIKA oval wheel meters offer direct measurement of volume without the need for inlet and outlet sections. Their high-quality design and high long-term stability as well as measuring accuracy and repeatability make them reliable measuring instruments. In addition, they are easy to install and thus an efficient solution for volume and flow measurement of liquids.

The flowmeter is available in different sizes: 0.15, 0.6, 1, 2, 5 and 10. It has a process connection in different sizes: G¼ female, G½ female, G¾ female and G1 female.

The measuring range of the flowmeter varies depending on the size and ranges from 0.03 to 1 l/min to 4 to 100 l/min. The device can be supplied with a plug M12x1 or without electrical connection.

The output signal can be NPN, PNP or without, while the display version is available either without or with an 8-digit display.

The flowmeter can also be equipped with different signal outputs, such as a pulse output, NPN or a pulse output, NPN with analog output 4...20 mA / 2-wire. The O-ring seals are available in various materials, including FKM, EPDM and FEP.
