Oval gear meters are displacement volume meters that precisely measure the volume of liquids by means of defined partial volumes in individual measuring chambers. The measuring element consists of two high-precision, toothed oval wheels that are driven by the flow of the medium and roll on top of each other. Thus, with each revolution of the pair of oval wheels, a certain volume is transported, which is detected by a sensor element. The number of revolutions is a measure of the volume of liquid that has flowed through.

SIKA oval wheel meters provide precise and reliable volume and flow measurement of liquids in various applications. SIKA oval wheel meters are available in sizes 2, 10, 50 and 115. The process connections are flanges according to DIN EN 1092-1 in sizes DN15, DN25, DN50 and DN115. The measuring range varies depending on the size and ranges from 1...30 l/min to 35...660 l/min.

For the electrical connection, a plug M12x1 and a 2 m long silicone cable with 3 x 0.14 mm are available. Various output signals are possible, including NPN, PNP and PNP (high temperature), or without output signal. A display version with 8-digit display is optionally available.

The SIKA oval wheel meters are available with or without signal output, as required with pulse output, NPN, high temperature or with an additional analog output of 4...20 mA / 2-wire. The seals are optionally made of FKM, EPDM or FEP.
