The oval wheel meters are displacement volume meters that precisely measure the volume of liquids by means of defined partial volumes in individual measuring chambers. The measuring element consists of two high-precision, toothed oval wheels that are driven by the flow of the medium and roll on top of each other. Thus, with each revolution of the pair of oval wheels, a certain volume is transported, which is detected by a sensor element. The number of revolutions is a measure of the volume of liquid that has flowed through.

SIKA oval wheel meters are displacement meters that measure volume directly and do not require inlet and outlet sections. They have a robust design and are characterized by a long service life and high reliability. Their high long-term stability, measuring accuracy and repeatability make them particularly precise for measuring the volume and flow rate of liquids in various applications.

SIKA oval wheel meters are available in various sizes, including 0.15, 0.6, 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 and 115. The process connection varies between G¼ internal, G½ internal, G¾ internal, G 1 internal and G 2 internal. The measuring range varies between 0.03...1 l/min and 35...660 l/min depending on the model.

For the electrical connection there are different options like connector M12x1, 2 m silicone cable or no electrical connection. The output signals are also different, NPN, PNP or without. There is also a high temperature variant of the PNP output signal.

The SIKA oval wheel meters are usually available without display version, but can also be equipped with an 8-digit display. With regard to the signal outputs, there are various options such as pulse output, NPN, analog output 4...20 mA / 2-wire or a combination of both. There is also a high temperature variant of the pulse output with PNP or analog output.

The seals can be made of FKM, EPDM or FEP and vary depending on the model.
