The oval wheel meters are displacement volume meters that precisely measure the volume of liquids by means of defined partial volumes in individual measuring chambers. The measuring element consists of two high-precision, toothed oval wheels that are driven by the flow of the medium and roll on top of each other. Thus, with each revolution of the pair of oval wheels, a certain volume is transported, which is detected by a sensor element. The number of revolutions is a measure of the volume of liquid that has flowed through.

The SIKA oval wheel meters are displacement meters with direct recording of the volume and do not require inlet and outlet sections. They are robustly designed for a long service life and high reliability, as well as for high long-term stability, measuring accuracy and repeatability. Easy installation makes them an efficient solution for precise volume and flow measurement of liquids in various applications.

SIKA oval wheel meters are available in sizes 2 and 10 and can be equipped with a DN15 or DN25 flange (according to DIN EN 1092-1). The measuring range varies depending on the size and ranges from 1 to 30 l/min up to 4 to 100 l/min.

The electrical connection is made either via a plug M12x1 or without connection. The output signal can be either NPN or PNP or without signal. A display version is optionally available with an 8-digit display.

The SIKA oval wheel meters have various signal outputs, including a pulse output, NPN or a pulse output, NPN with an analog output 4 to 20 mA / 2-wire. Various seals such as FKM, EPDM and FEP are available and offer high chemical resistance.
